As the unipolar global order centered on US hegemony wanes, experts and the world’s leaders are starting to revive discussions on how to redraw the global economic, political, and security landscapes.

The 12th World Knowledge Forum, hosted by Maeil Business Newspaper this fall, will invite the world’s four leading think tank experts to predict new changes and shed new light into the future.

President Strobe Talbott of the Brookings Institution, a renowned institute of independent research and one of the oldest think tanks in the US, will be coming to South Korea to share his insights. Senior adviser Gerald F. Hyman of the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) - a foreign policy institute famous for working alongside Secretary of States and state officials to formulate global strategies for the US - will stand in front of the podium as well.

Dominic Barton, director of management consulting agency McKinsey & Company, and Hans-Paul Burkner, President and CEO of the Boston Consulting Group, will also offer their perspectives on the shifts in the global landscape at the forum.
